Consumer Services - Adult Day Training

We believe that the ability to access and utilize the resources and facilities of our community is a privilege to be treasured. Our Adult Day Training program is designed to nurture existing skills as well as teach new ones that increase independent functioning. Classroom and educational opportunities at the Center are combined with activities in a variety of community settings to accomplish this goal. Learning new things can really be fun.

Another important aspect of our Adult Day Training program is the opportunity to work. Many individuals spend part of their day in activities and part of the day working. There are two types of opportunities that participants may explore. In our workshop, we do small parts assembly, packaging, and other tasks for local companies. You can learn more about Kevil Industries by clicking here.

Additional opportunities exist for participants with a desire to work in a local community setting. You can learn more about our JOBs program by clicking here.

When the weather is warm, a group may go down to the local Police Department and wash the cruisers.
